What other measures are you taking to ensure maximum uptime for the Validators?

  1. Backup Wifi Service

  2. Backup Battery for the NUC (computer)

  3. Backup Battery for the Wifi

All-in-all, our objective for maximum yield is to reduce the amount of time where they are down. In order to prevent downtime, we have a secondary Wifi source with a different ISP (internet service provider). In the event the primary Wifi goes down, the NUC (computer) will automatically switch to the backup Wifi.

Additionally, we purchased two Backup Batteries (known as a Uninterruptible Power Supply, UPS). One will be for the computer itself, while the other is for the Wifi & backup Wifi.

In the unlikely event that power goes out for an extended period of time, these backup batteries should give us enough time to power down the computer (and to move if necessary) until either the power returns or an alternative location is deemed to be better.

For anyone interested in which backup battery (UPS) that we are using: CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS System, 1500VA/1000W, 12 Outlets, AVR, Mini Tower
