# What if I want my PLS back before the pool ends?

Once you send PLS to the pool, you cannot redeem your PLS (or rewards) until the lock period is up (August 15, 2024).

That said, you can sell your MAFIA token on a decentralized exchange ([Pulsex](https://mikes-organization-9.gitbook.io/pulsemafia/overview/pulsemafia-faq/www.pulsex.com)) at any time prior to August 15, 2024 if the community decides to add liquidity. Note: You can also buy more MAFIA token as well (once again, the community must provide that liquidity on a decentralized exchange, which we have no control over).

At the end of the 1 year (August 15, 2024), all of the MAFIA holders will receive their share of the principal + profits relative to the amount of tokens that they hold.
